Testimonials:

As someone who recently moved to Los Angeles, the Maher Fellowship was a great way to transition into a new community. I have met some of my closest friends through the Fellowship and continue to deepen my roots in the Los Angeles community. The people, experiences and memories from one-on-one talks, group seminars, and the AIPAC Policy Conference have made a lasting impression me: I’ve grown immensely and continue to learn from my peers.
— Daniel Matatiaho (Cohort 3)
For the duration of six months, the leaders of this organization, Shanel Melamed and Jason Youdeem invite Jewish leaders –leaders who have been trailblazers in this community – to give informative lectures to the cohort. The Maher program enables young leaders who enter to be students once more, sharpen their skills, and be given the opportunity to stand on the shoulders of giants.
— Amir Ahobim (Cohort 4)
The Maher Fellowship excels at bringing together a group of young professionals who aspire to grow as individuals and elevate those around them. We are given both a professional and social network to develop and support our humanitarian goals (a perfect example: the undying support I have received for my work with Angel City Sports). We are given an educational foundation of the roots of our Jewish Iranian community and how/why we have become what we are today so that we can improve and further identify our areas of need. I am so grateful for the all the love and support I have received from my fellow alumni and the Maher leadership, and know that this is just the beginning of a lifetime legacy in the making.
— Shirin Golshani (Cohort 2)
